Investment
From my experience working with students, the answer is yes but only if you approach it the right way.
Studying in Japan requires a moderate financial commitment compared to other countries. Many students and families arrange around 15–20 lac BDT as a financial base, including tuition and living support. Tuition fees for language schools and programs are relatively affordable and living costs depend on the city but are generally manageable. Initial expenses (first few months) can feel heavy since income is not immediate.
Return
Japan offers strong return potential but it is not automatic. Students can work part-time while studying. With time and improved language skills, they can manage a significant portion of their living expenses. If students achieve Japanese language proficiency and work discipline, and maintain time management these skills add long-term career value, even outside Japan. Japan is worth it for those who are serious, disciplined, and ready to adapt. Then Japan can offer a strong return on investment not just financially, but personally and professionally.
